Version 2 (Beta 1.2)

While the new Version 2 (Beta 1.2) may not be a considerable upgrade, there are a few enabled translation forms that have been upgraded and a few other enhancements.

BETA 1.2

  • Fixed an issue where selecting campaign would clear the checked-out field.
  • Enabled translations for a few other forms.
  • Added a feature to include a spacer for the S-8-S form.  This will enable the publishers to include notes to the sheet such as new house-hold addresses.
  • Resolved some front-end to back-end database linking issues.

Note:  New users will still need the back-end database.  See T2K Beta considerations for more information.

Now you can try Territory Administrator Version 2.0 Multi-Language (Beta 1). Although, Beta 1 is incomplete and still has bugs that need to be worked through, you can expect some of the following fixes and enhancements:

Print territory cards out to S-8-S forms.

New Language Form so users can include new languages or edit existing ones.
You can now specify Phone and Campaign check-outs.

IMPROVEMENTS

Statistics Print Report

FIXED BUGS

HOUSE-TO-HOUSE RECORDS
Fixed issue with the “Alphabetize’ Check box for the main House-to-House Window
Fixed issue with option to print ‘checked out’ territory

The main House-to-House windows was not showing contacts when the “Show contacts instead of street’ is left checked and the “Section and Street Order” in the Switch Board Panel was checked.

Checked-Out Territory is indicated in Red to show that it is checked out. When exiting the form, this value was lost. This has been fixed for Version 2.0

ARCHIVE
Fixed a header for checked-out print reports.
Improved Month Range feature

MAIN CONTROL PANEL
Fixed an issue where having the “Section and Street Order” enabled, and then going to the House-to-House Records.

DOWNLOAD CONSIDERATIONS

  • This Beta 1 only has the following languages: English and Spanish. However, Version 2.0 MultiLanguage Beta 1 is intended for users to include additional languages by using the new Language Form.
  • Please make a backup of your Back-end Database.
  • Although we appreciate language translations from our users, we won’t be accepting any translations until we move closer to Final version release date.
  • New users to Territory Administrator 2000 Version 2.0 (Beta 1) will need to download the back-end database.
  • When you open the new Version 2.0 Beta 1 and when you link to the back-end database, you will get a content warning message:

As with newer versions of Access, you are notified of a potential security risk. Click open to execute Territory Administrator Version 2.0 MultiLanguage (Beta 1).

Online Form for collaborators
I will soon create an online form for users to submit.  This form will ask for the usual:  Name, email, congregation and maybe a question to prove congregation status.

Excel Spreadsheets
I will soon deploy the documents that will hold the 252 language records where users can collaborate to Google Docs.

Google Docs
Using ‘Google Docs’, I plan to share the documents with those users that submitted the online form.  It’s critical that I obtain the user’s email address to establish the share.

These are the steps I believe will make the new Territory Administrator 2000 Version 2.0 into a “Multi-Language” edition.

Please let us know if you have any suggestions or questions.

  12. T2K's Map Section and Street Order
Map Section The Map Section separates the territory by section by assigning a letter.  For instance, if you have Territory 1B and you like to split the territory in two because Territory B is large and you would like to make it easy for the publishers to find the streets and the house numbers.   See the following scenario. Scenario: 1.) Your Territory 10 is very large and the publishers have a hard time finding the streets. 2.) You ... - #
